Olivier Assoua
Olivier is a BAFTA Connect Member and a celebrated writer-director. His work has been recognised by BBC online, The British Blacklist, and several international film festivals. He is driven by his passion for exploring and challenging British identity and culture through his stories, and aims to make a positive impact in the world. His debut feature film “The Eagle’s Nest”, a powerful drama about immigration and poverty in Africa, received multiple awards and accolades, including being the Opening Film at Durban International Film Festival 2021 and the Closing Film of the Pan-African Festival of Cannes 2021.
Vee Assoua
Vee is a creative producer of Zimbabwean, British, and South African descent, who is passionate about celebrating and exploring her diverse and complex cultural identities through her stories. She was in charge of the post production of “The Eagle’s Nest (2021)”, a feature film distributed by Indie Rights Inc and available on various streaming platforms. The film, which tackles the issues of immigration and poverty in Africa, has received numerous awards and nominations from various international film festivals, including Raindance, Austin, Nollywood International in Toronto, Hollywood Diversity, and Nice International.
